Description | This unit covers the competency required to plan, prepare, conduct and follow-up on a range inspection. It includes the requirement to ensure the safety of the range and to identify those aspects that may inhibit or jeopardise the safety of the range including maintenance requirements.Designated range inspectors in the Department of Defence conduct these technical range inspections. Inspections are a statutory requirement and may be scheduled, special or follow-up. They include the inspection requirements of a Range Safety Board. | ||
